In 1994, a friend of mine recommended me to do a photoshoot for local record producer, John Falzone. This was the first professional shoot I had ever done, and I didn't have the slightest idea what I was doing.
My assignment was the Band Shoot- and the only time the band could get together was after work. Luckily it was May and the days are long- which is great because I do my best as a natural light photgrapher.
I eneded up at
the Krispy Kreme where I shot the Not So Dandelions.
I had the one lucky shot and that photo was published in Billboard Magazine
and the What's Up section of the N& O where producer Dick Hodgin saw it
and called me up.
He wanted me to do a shoot for his new band, Cravin' Melon.
And thus began my relationship with the local music scene.
