Gaff Music is a renegade record company whose philosophy embraces the belief that average music lovers have a lot more brains and taste than the big labels give them credit for.
Brain child of Scott Beal, irreverent CEO (and occasional fez-wearing founder) from Charlotte, NC, Gaff seeks out consummate producers and artists to create and recreate some of rock's more memorable moments. You will hear anything from the irresistible pop hooks of Arrogance to avant garde electric guitar and keyboards that will make you fondly remember Mr Natural or whomever else you may have known at the time.
Gaff Music credits include producer Don Dixon, Jim Brock, master guitarists Henry Kaiser and Glenn Philips; Red Clay Rambler and writer Bland Simpson, novelist and songwriter, Madison Smartt Bell and poet Wyn Cooper to name but a few.
