My other big band was Far Too Jones. Chris Spruill has a signature voice- you can recognize it anywhere. They are one of the hardest working bands I've ever known.
To make it in the biz, you have to have determination, drive and, perhaps most important, luck.
They struck it- got their record deall too- they were signed with Mammoth and off they went.
But like Melon, Far Too Jones eventually got dropped from their label after their two years was up.
Nothing personal. Just business.
